Our Biggest Adventure Yet: Baby MinneCravings Coming Soon!
There’s something magical about fall in Minnesota — the crisp air, cozy layers, and weekends spent wandering through golden fields filled with pumpkins. Every year, visiting a pumpkin patch has been one of our favorite traditions. It’s a time to slow down and soak in all the simple joys this season brings.
But this year’s visit felt a little more special. Hidden among the pumpkins, we were holding onto a secret we could finally share: we’re expecting a baby! 🧡
A Cozy Fall Announcement
When we found out the news, I immediately knew I wanted to capture this new chapter surrounded by fall colors. There’s just something so comforting about the changing seasons — a reminder that life moves in beautiful cycles, each one bringing something new and full of possibility.
We decided to celebrate our announcement at a local Minnesota pumpkin patch — Dehn’s Pumpkins. Surrounded by bright orange pumpkins, golden corn mazes, and the warmth of the afternoon sun, it felt like the perfect place to celebrate this special moment.
I couldn’t stop smiling as we took photos, imagining how next year we’d be back again — this time, with a little one in our arms.
Our Journey So Far
When I started MinneCravings, it was simply a space to share the things I love most: food, travel, and Minnesota adventures. Over time, it’s grown into a reflection of our life — cozy kitchen creations, hidden gem eateries, and getaways that make us fall in love with this state all over again.
Now, it’s about to grow in a whole new way.
Becoming parents is something we’ve dreamed about for a while, and it still feels surreal to see it coming to life. There’s excitement, a few nerves, and so much gratitude. As I write this, I can already picture all the new “cravings” this next chapter will bring — from midnight snacks to baby snuggles.
Capturing the Moment
Our pumpkin patch announcement was simple but full of heart. Surrounded by pumpkins and fall colors, we took photos that perfectly capture this season of change — both in nature and in our lives.
Whether it was holding a “little pumpkin” close or just laughing between takes, it was one of those days I’ll never forget. These photos feel like the start of something truly beautiful — a reminder that sometimes, the sweetest surprises come when you least expect them.
